High Heels Bad for Your Health:

Answer these question: "Are high heels bad for your health?" This may seem obvious to some people. There is a lot of research being done on the various ways that high heels affect the well-being of the wearer, but it is highly fragmented, focusing specifically on specific health issues. Also, there is research that shows the benefits of wearing high heels

We have decided to conduct the first systematic review of research on both the factors involved in healthier health and the advantages and disadvantages of wearing high heels. Our findings, published in the journal BMC Public Health, show that heels are associated with an increased risk of injury to body parts, muscle aches and injuries.

However, it is important to note that the overall risk of injury is moderate. In some cases, people suffered severe injuries from wearing high heels, but these were not particularly common and current evidence does not suggest a serious cause for the alarm. Some studies have suggested links between heels and osteoarthritis, but our review shows that the link is inconsistent.

Although it is clear that repeated wear is more detrimental to long-term health, the longest and narrowest heels are those that are most prone to serious injuries such as ankle fractures. An element of wearing high heels is often overlooked in the public health discussion of high heels, but what we have considered in our study is the psychological benefits that they wear.

Like it or not, high heels are a symbol of modern (different) women's sexuality. Get news that is free, independent and based on evidence. We have found credible evidence that high heels benefit women in terms of how they perceive their beauty, how attractive they are to men, and how willing men are to help them, e.g. Completing the questionnaire or retrieving a fallen glove. So women face a potential dilemma: wearing high heels can increase their focus but it can also be detrimental to their health.

Freedom of choice:

It is important that women make informed choices about wearing high heels and how often. Our hope is that, by raising public awareness of the pros and cons of wearing high heels, people can make informed choices.

To do so, they have to navigate the broader elements of culture that promote high heels as fashion or the expected part of the dress code. People's choice of freedom is always influenced by social expectations. But, through research and advocacy, progress has been made in moving away from the idea that high heels are the only choice for women in intelligent professional or social situations.
